Marvel May is a force of nature, ready to put it all on the line for what she believes in, and has learned that there’s no point in apologizing for it.

An activist and righteous rabble rouser, she’s been dismissively called everything in the book– too angry, annoying, a Debbie Downer.

When she tried to make herself “more palatable”, she was then not demanding enough or too passive. So, why bother?

No matter what you think, she is always authentically her, and you better respect that. She loves to partner up with her fellow Conscious artists, like Black Chaz, to bring attention to the issues that matter most.

She’s an uplifter, a supporter, but she handles the spotlight well, with no ego. So well, in fact, that she’s the spokesperson for several charities, and she always donates a portion of her music earnings to help those in need.

Marvel May is either your best friend or a thorn in your side, there are hardly ever in betweens.

A born girl’s girl, she’s always eager to mentor the younger women in the industry to help them navigate the often treacherous waters of fame.

So, what are her weaknesses?!

Sometimes she stretches herself too thin and needs to take a break. That’s where her bestie Missy Knight comes in. Their self-care weekend trips are essential.
